Drywall, mud, & texture, is a very traditional and common wall covering. There’s even wall paper, venetian plaster, and more options. Our preferred, and biased opinion, is using wood coverings on walls. Whether it is wainscot, shiplap, board & batten, or making accent walls, we love the carpentry and aesthetics of it all. If you live in an old home, tract home, or even spec home, this kind of woodworking makes any home into a custom home without breaking the bank.
Shiplap doesn’t just have to be used on the walls, it’s also a great addition to a ceiling.
Faux beams, coffered ceilings, tongue & groove planks, and even shiplap can be used to spruce up your ceilings.
If you would like to upgrade your home and make it more appealing with the added look of custom woodworking to it, reach out to us for more information.
Tongue and groove ceilings, coffered ceilings, and faux beams are also other ways of renovating your ceilings.
We can give you a no obligation consultation in home. We like to show our clients various samples they can see in person, and feel. It helps to visualize what the finished product looks like. While not everyone can visualize what the completed project will look like in their head, M Klein Construction likes to go one step ahead and offer a computer illustration to give you an example of what your completed project could look like.
